This coming Sunday will be the first of two championship days for the CTR fall season. First up, The Hangar league in Toronto will host 10 teams competing for the right to be named league champions. There are a few favourites heading into Sunday including ‘The Bay St. Gormandizers’, ‘Big Barbs’, however competition is relatively tight so any team will be dangerous on the day.

Burlington will host its championship day on the 21st of December and will mark the first time a team will have an opportunity claim the title. Unlike The Hangar league, there has been a clear favourite from day one which is the team from Brantford who are looking to continue to collect hardware this year after their back to back McCormick Cup Championship. A few players from the ‘Quinns’ have maintained their fine form from the summer season.

However which way the dust settles, we are looking forward to hosting what will be another fun day of rugby!
